Comu Brand & Promotion Compliance Policy
To protect Comu's brand integrity and keep affiliate marketing transparent, all partners, publishers, and sub-affiliates must follow the standards below when promoting Comu products or offers.
1. Brand Asset Usage Guidelines
1.1 Authorized Materials Only
Use only Comu-approved logos, product images, campaign graphics, and marketing assets supplied through Impact, an official asset library, or a Comu-designated shared folder.
- Use the latest approved versions of all brand materials.
- Do not distort, recolor, redraw, crop, animate, or otherwise modify Comu brand assets unless written approval has been provided.
- Self-created logos, outdated product images, and unofficial brand treatments are not permitted.
1.2 Co-Branding Restrictions
Affiliate materials must not imply an official partnership, certification, endorsement, or joint ownership beyond the approved affiliate relationship.
- Do not place the Comu logo and an affiliate logo in a lockup that suggests a formal collaboration.
- Do not overlap, merge, blend, or interlock logos or marks.
- Do not add trademark symbols, badges, seals, or certification language unless approved in writing by Comu.
2. Promotion Methods Policy
2.1 Channel Standards
Affiliate channels must remain clearly separate from Comu's official channels. Do not copy the layout, design system, naming, social handles, profile names, or verification-style presentation of Comu's website or official accounts.
2.2 Sub-Affiliate Rules
Sub-affiliates and traffic partners may not contact creators, publishers, media outlets, agencies, or customers while presenting themselves as Comu or as official Comu representatives. The primary affiliate is responsible for the conduct of every sub-partner or traffic source used in a campaign.
2.3 Advertising Compliance
The following promotion methods are prohibited:
- Traffic hijacking, forced clicks, deceptive redirects, or misleading landing pages.
- Unauthorized bidding on Comu brand keywords or confusingly similar terms in paid search or other paid media.
- False price comparisons, fake discount claims, or promotion of offers that Comu has not approved.
Paid advertising campaigns, including search, social, display, native, or influencer amplification, must receive written approval from Comu before launch.
2.4 Platform Restrictions
Comu promotions may not appear on websites, apps, social accounts, or media placements involving adult content, gambling, illegal substances, hate content, unlawful activity, or any environment that could damage the brand or mislead customers.
3. Content Guidelines
3.1 Truthfulness & Accuracy
All claims must be accurate, current, and aligned with official Comu communications. Affiliates may not exaggerate product capabilities, fabricate testimonials, invent product certifications, or create unauthorized limited-time offers.
3.2 Legal Compliance
Affiliates must comply with all applicable laws and platform rules in the markets where they promote Comu. Content must not include unsupported medical, legal, or regulatory claims; discriminatory or offensive language; or any statement that could mislead customers.
3.3 Prohibited Terminology
Do not use terms such as "official partnership," "brand-certified," "strategic collaboration," or similar wording that implies formal endorsement unless Comu has provided explicit written authorization.
4. Compliance Process
4.1 Pre-Approval Requirements
New affiliate accounts may be reviewed before approval. Campaign plans, paid media placements, and any materials using Comu brand assets should be submitted at least 3 business days before launch when approval is required.
4.2 Ongoing Monitoring
Active affiliate campaigns may be reviewed periodically. Violations can result in campaign suspension, removal of creative approvals, commission withholding, reversal of tracked sales, or termination from the affiliate program.
